Every now and then we need a little help. Groom Malcolm and bride Claire hired us to perform at is wedding reception at The Fox in Stourton, West Midlands. Malcolm and Claire are from the Black Country, the area to the South West of Birmingham (think The Crooked House, Lenny Henry and Frank Skinner but not Peaky Blinders). HARD TO HANDLE WEDDING BAND are also from the Black Country. When we perform at local wedding receptions and business events, inevitably our Black Country accents are a little more obvious.
So for those of you not well versed in the language of the good people from the area (known as Yamyams), we have helpfully activated Youtubes’ automatic subtitles on this video. They’re mostly accurate. Enjoy!
