Did we miss anything? Oh yes – Ashton Lodge venue managers will love you when you tell them that have you have hired HARD TO HANDLE BAND as your Warwickshire wedding band! They certainly appreciate our professional approach to what we do, including proactively liaising with them in advance – we provide copies of our Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and electrical testing documentation (PAT) and talk to them about things like arrival and set up times. They also love the fact that we provide the structure for the evening, announcing cake cutting, gathering your guests to line the edge of the dance floor in preparation for the all-important first dance, providing non-stop music all night split between live band and DJ sets and ensuring that we perform within volume limitations. This means that we are doing the stuff that professional Warwickshire service providers should do.

Our massively eclectic 370+ song genre-busting live band playlist has been collated over a number of year and not only represents evergreen dance floor fillers but song requests from the hundreds of Warwickshire bride and grooms we have played to. When you hire HARD TO HANDLE BAND, you are welcome to select songs our online playlist or choose other songs for us to learn and play (including your first dance) – and unlike some bands, we won’t charge you to learn and play your favourite songs. In two hours of live band music – which can be split into either 3 x 40 minute or 2 x 1 hour sets, we can perform up to 36 songs, so get your skates on and start putting together a list of our all-time favourite anthems!
Brides and grooms who hire us as their Ashton Lodge wedding band also love our on-stage energy, which you’ll see in abundance in our performance videos. Our infectious energy really gets the party started and it’s not long before the dance floor is heaving with guests. They also love the act that we provide a live DJ free of charge as standard with every booking. As you may know, Ashton Lodge currently offers an in-house DJ and you are welcome to either use them or ask us to get our own DJ involved. It’s nice to have options, isn’t it!
Oh, and by the way, you may have read in Ashton Lodges’ FAQ page (https://ashtonlodgecountryhouse.com/frequently-asked-questions/) that live bands must use electric drums as a condition of them performing. You may be wondering “what on earth does that mean?” Electric drums are a modern alternative to traditional acoustic drum sets. Whereas as acoustic drum sets can’t be calibrated for volume, electric drums can. Don’t worry – HARD TO HANDLE BAND provide electric drums as standard. What is the best entertainment for a wedding at Ashton Lodge?
