What do weddings couples and Einstein having in common? We’ll tell you. It’s a known phenomenon that the closer a wedding gets, the more time appears to accelerate. One minute you’re over a year away from the big day, then the next you’re doing final checks with service providers and the order of the day. And while Einstein may not have based his theory of relativity specifically on his own wedding, he probably felt those all too familiar jitters as the last few months and weeks sped past and he entered the final few days, nursing the mother of all stag party hungover headaches.
Wedding couples notice this. Approximately one month before the big day, we call brides and grooms for a run though of details just to check that all of the important information we have already established regarding the timing of the cake cut, first dance and live band sets as well as song requests and other stuff which allows us to do our job remains the same. It’s then that they tell us how quickly time seems to have moved.
As a Berkshire wedding band we get the same feeling but in reverse – a wedding booking comes, we arrive in plenty of time, fully prepared to get guests on the dance floor with a roaring mix of classic and contemporary live band music, embellished by the amazing sets played by our complementary DJ and then in the blink of an eye it’s midnight and we get to survey the chaotic scenes before us, with bodies strewn around us in various stages of disarray, satisfied that we have played out of our skins and delivered a live music experience that none present will forget for quite some time, and then in another blink of the eye it’s several months since we played the gig, having played many more since – just one of the over 200 bookings we perform as a Berkshire wedding band (and all around the UK).

Now it was clear from the very first phone call with Emma that she had the drive and energy to make whatever she wanted to achieve for a wedding a reality. Emma loved our simple, no-nonsense approach and all-in-one quote for non-stop music all night and told us that she would be in touch in a couple of days. By the time she and Ash got back to us 48 hours later, they had amassed over 20 quotes from other Berkshire bands and entertainment agencies, gone through the process of wedding out the crazy expensive quotes and bands with very limited playlists.
