If you had the chance, would you want to host your wedding in probably the most picturesque part of the UK? We are of course talking about the Lake District, and the jewel in the crown of this area, Lake Windermere – is where Sam and Alan decided to tie the knot. Not in the actual lake of course – that would be silly, especially in January. But Merewood Country House in Cumbria is the next best thing, nestled on the shoreline with views out over the body of water which can only be described as majestic.
Although nobody has yet to describe HARD TO HANDLE BAND as “majestic”, we’ve gotten pretty close. We have crafted a huge live band playlist of over 370 classic and contemporary songs featuring rock, pop, indie, pop-punk, soul, folk and something a little different with one sole purpose – to keep you guests on the dance floor all night. Our boundless onstage energy and sense of fun are both so highly infectious that you will see guests who you might have thought would be a little reserved hit the dance floor like they are possessed.
Added to all of this, we provide a live DJ as standard on every booking. This means that you won’t have the expense of effort of hire a separate service provider to play music when the band aren’t playing. Our DJ is an experienced professional entertainer with a fierce reputation for setting light to the dance floor with fire mixes including rock, pop, hot Ibiza classics and stone cold R ‘n’ B.
