But hey, even for a band performing over 200 bookings each year such as HARD TO HANDLE, there are some things that we don’t know. We recently discovered that nestling right in the centre of Warrington, Cheshire, and an unassuming exterior façade of a former bank with an urban frontage hides a sumptuous banqueting hall called Parrs Bank Hotel. As you’ll see from the video, upon entering, one is greeted by a classic foyer / hallway with double frosted doorway which give way to the splendour of the main banqueting hall. Of the many, many wedding receptions and business events we have performed at around Cheshire, this was our first visit to Parrs Bank Hotel in Warrington. As you might imagine, we have seen lots of different types of wedding venues, and we feel sure you’ll forgive us when we say it’s brides and grooms, the faces of guests and the scenes of everyone jumping up and down on the dance floor like lunatics all night that we remember rather than the venues – in fact sometimes our memory for one venue merges into another and we often can’t remember where we played the night before.
