You may by cool, but you may not be as cool as Steph and Chay, who we had the pleasure of performing to at the funky post-industrial warehouse-turned wedding venue setting of the Canal House in central Nottingham.
Guests were bold in their style choices. Undercuts, swishy black clothing and body modifications were all proudly sported, and we’re not sure if we were witnessing borderline steampunk, nu-goth or grebo, but whatever it was, it looked AMAZING.
With a foresight that matched their sartorial choices, Steph and Chay chose to hire HARD TO HANDLE BAND + DJ to entertain their guests – not because we are torchbearers for alternative music, but because we could entertain all their guests, including family members and friends alike. It might surprise you to learn that in terms of song requests, “This Charming man” by The Smiths was as alternative as our playlist got. This is because bride and groom new that the widest possible choice of genres would mean that everyone would be entertained; definitely something to think about when choosing song requests for your wedding band to perform.
