As with most things wedding related, it’s often the bride who will take the lead in organising and communicating. Not always, but often – and that’s all fine. So it was really nice that we manages to catch up with a groom phil after a full on gig for him, his lovely bride Kirsty and their guests at at The Pheasantry venue, just outside Newark, Nottinghamshire.
We absolutely LOVED the bride and grooms choice of first dance – “Still into you” by Paramore. We made the song our own by starting with a slow acoustic version for the first verse and chorus which allowed Kirsty and Phil to have their time together on the dance floor (and the photographer to get some great atmospheric shots) before kicking in with the full on rocktastic version to get everyone jumping around on the dance floor like lunatics!
