“Oh my god, you guys are amazing!” Kent wedding band Hard to Handle band wedding review The Dreys Sittingbourne

“Do you travel?” It’s a question often asked of HARD TO HANDLE BAND, and it’s one that’s easily answered. Yes! As a professional function band, we certainly have some miles under our collective belts. Whereas some brides and grooms are based locally, some wedding couples choose to hold their wedding receptions at distance from us, but it really doesn’t matter – we will go wherever we are booked to perform.

And we always ensure we arrive in plenty of time on the day, which means that you won’t find yourself at the conclusion of your wedding breakfast and speeches, wondering where the band are, calling their contact number, it going straight to voicemail and getting that sinking feeling, thinking “are the band going to turn up?”

If you’d prefer that kind of experience, feel free to hire one of the myriad of live bands out there who say they go the extra mile to satisfy their clients but in actual fact will only provide a good customer experience if it suits them.

It doesn’t have to be like this. As you can tell by the + video reviews on our Review page, each year, HARD TO HANDLE BAND are trusted by many brides, grooms and other party planners to provide superlative live entertainment. Trust is hugely important for us – we know that you have spent lots of time and effort organising your wedding reception and you are ultimately placing your trust in the service providers you hire to not just arrive on the day, set up and go through the motions but to provide the best possible experience the can. For us as a live wedding band that means doing our utmost to relax and entertain your guests so that any time you look at the dance floor during the night, it’s packed with your family, friends and loved ones!

So, when Drew and Leanne hired us to perform at their wedding reception at The Dreys Wedding Venue, Sittingbourne, Kent (just over three hours’ drive away for us), they were trusting that we would arrive in plenty of time, set up our band and DJ equipment, provide a structure for their evening so that they could get on with the important business of enjoying themselves, and most importantly play all of their song requests:

Three Times A Lady (The Commodores)

Down in the tube station at midnight (The Jam)

Valerie

Respect

I’m a believer

I’ll be there for you

Higher and higher

I love rock n roll

One way or another

Park Life

Teenage kicks

Summer of ’69

Don’t stop me now

Proud Mary

Viva la Vida

You got the love

I’m still standing

Baggy trousers

Living on a prayer

Sweet child o’ Mine

You really got me

Are you gonna be my girl

Somebody told me

Take me out

Smells like teen spirit

Last nite

She moves in her own way

Don’t look back into the sun

Use somebody

I predict a riot

All the small things

Chelsea Dagger

Dakota

Seven nation army

I Bet you look good on the Dancefloor

Mr Brightside

Sex on Fire

Teenage Dirtbag

500 miles

Don’t look back in anger

Walking on sunshine

…which of course we did, because we know the best way of keeping the dance floor full is to play song requests. Not one or two, but wherever possible, all! (By the way, we’re also very good at working the room, changing songs if needs be in order to catch the right vibe for your guests.) All of which led Leanne to say “Oh my god, you guys are amazing!”
