On what turned out to be the hottest day of the year, why on earth would you want to hire a band that made the temperature on the dance floor even hotter? It’s a question for the ages that may never be answered, but hey. We’ll try to answer it anyway.
Of course, when Jo and Jack were looking to hire a wedding band for their Nottingham wedding reception (at Walled Garden venue Nottinghamshire), they didn’t know that the UK would experience a heatwave, with temperatures in excess of 30 degrees, so naturally they looked for a and that could turn up the heat and set the dance floor on fire. And with over 200 glowing reviews, a massive 350+ multi-genre repertoire and crazy brilliant performance videos, HARD TO HANDLE were the obvious choice – even more so when bride and groom discovered that even with our added afternoon drinks reception music service we are still more cost effective than the majority of other wedding bands Nottingham has to offer!
We arrived at midday to set up for our acoustic set, then awaited the arrival of Jo, Jack and guests for the ceremony, after which we seamlessly eased into chilled out versions of classic and contemporary hits befitting a hot summer afternoon. We also provided a microphone for speeches, then awaited evening festivities, including lots of live band music and DJ sets with a packed dance floor. The only thing we didn’t provide was a drop in temperature!
