If you’re new to the West Midlands and think the county is all about Birmingham and silly accents, just take a trip around the outskirts of the area and at almost every turn you will find leafy glades, fields of green and bucolic scenes all around. Nestled in one such area is Nuthurst Grange, a mid sized bespoke wedding venue boasting not just one but two reception rooms, one smaller, one larger to cater to intimate gatherings or larger functions.

Our versatility doesn’t just start and end with our live band music however – a key component of the service we offer is our live DJ who played sets before, inbetween and after the band, creating a night of non-stop music.
Whereas some West Midlands wedding bands use the inclusion of DJ music as a way of increasing their fees (they’ll say they can provide DJ music for extra £££), we prefer to offer everything you’ll need for a great nights’ entertainment at one fee – so we won’t charge you any extra for our DJ, or for that matter learning new songs. Oh and by the way, if you are getting quotes and information from other bands, make sure that when they offer you real DJ music – unfortunately many bands simply provide a Spotify playlist that one of the band members presses play on at the end of their set. This means that while you will have infill music, there will be zero interaction with your guest because they won’t be able to request songs. HARD TO HANDLE BAND provide a real live DJ as standard on every booking, so you don’t have to the effort or expense about hiring a separate DJ.
This is just one of the reasons why Chloe hired HARD TO HANDLE BAND to entertain her guests. It’s fair to say that she loved our mix of music, having done what you are about to do – take a look at our exhaustive live band playlist – but as The Stables room at Nuthurst Grange is a relatively compact area, she also would have appreciated the fact that we have a very compact set up area and both band and DJ can expand or contract into almost any available space with ease.
