Song requests – when you hire HARD TO HANDLE BAND you are more than welcome to select songs for us to perform live. Our live band repertoire is pretty extensive – over 350 classic and contemporary songs featuring rock, pop, indie, soul and more (you’ll find our playlist on the HARD TO HANDLE BAND website), but you can also choose other songs for us to play.
They may be your favourite songs or requests you’ve received from your guests, but it’s always fun for us to learn a song especially for you.
So when Tom and Sai were looking for the perfect band to perform at their wedding reception in at the sumptuous Allerton Castle in Yorkshire, they were adamant they need to find a band who could perform some of their “curveball” favourite songs, one of which was “Psycho Killer”, the song by seminal new wave band Talking Heads.
Now as you might imagine, we don’t get to play this song very often at wedding receptions, but we learnt and performed the song for bride, groom and guests and they absolutely loved it. So if you’re thinking “we’ll never find a band who will play our unusual song request for our wedding”, think again!
